Why You Should Start Your Own Business Right Now
To tell the truth, I believe it is hard to realize why anyone wouldn't wish to work for themselves. You have complete control over everything. You decide on that which you do, when and the manner in which you do it. And moreover than whatever else, it provides you with freedom.
What I am talking about by this really is that, if you need or wish to accomplish something, something with your young ones for example. Then you can. This happened to me just before my Grandfather passed away. My Grandfather lived in England, and I reside in Australia. I received a call to express that he have been taken into hospital and was very poorly. They weren't sure the length of time he had left.
Because I work for myself, I was organise my business and then get straight on a trip to the UK a couple of days later. If I worked for someone else, I very much doubt I would've had the oppertunity to take 2 weeks off assist pretty much no notice. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't have already been in a position to afford to do it anyway.
That leads me to a different advantageous asset of owning your own business. Why work your ass off to line someone else's pockets, whilst you get hold of a small percentage of this in the form of a wage. I understand some individuals have high-powered jobs and earn a good living. But I guarantee their boss earns more. If you own the company then you definitely make the money. Although, this really is also a down side to this to starting your own business:
DON'T EXPECT TO GET RICH QUICK.
It requires plenty of effort and a long time to produce any decent amount of money from your own business. But it's worth it.
Independent of the fact I'd no control. I had to work specific hours that I was told to. I couldn't be late. I'd to arrange my life around could work, not the other way round.
Nevertheless the worst thing for me personally, was being spoken down to. I see that bosses rarely speak for their staff as an equal. This for me is something I have never had the oppertunity to deal with.
Even at school, I couldn't be spoken down business plan writer to. Which explains why I didn't do perfectly and got kicked out of class constantly for answering back. Actually I didn't really prosper academically until I visited college and University, where in actuality the lecturers would speak if you ask me with equal respect. Consequently I then achieved my law degree, along with a bunch of other qualifications.
The main reason to start your own business:
Basically the greatest and most significant reason that as a Mom, you must start your own personal business, is your children.
Don't get me wrong. You don't necessarily work LESS hours once you own your own business. Actually, in the first place at the least, you will most likely work more. But you are able to arrange your work around your family. You can work when the children are at school, at friends or in bed. It is possible to take days off to have days out with your children. And you don't have to get someone else's permission to have a family holiday.
Needless to say this depends on what type of business you start, and at what stage it's at.
For example, if you decide to open a shop and to begin with it is simply you working there. You will have to work certain hours and you will struggle to take days or weeks off. At least until you are in a position to have cover whilst you are away.
But, once your business is developed to the stage where you've employees of your own to operate things whilst you're away. Or when you yourself have a small business that allows for flexible hours. Then you can certainly fully take advantage of that advantage of doing work for yourself.
I honestly believe in Mom's owning their own businesses. I started this site in the initial place because I want mothers to realize, not only that they CAN start their particular businesses. But that their life could be better as a result of it.
